askWhizz app licence

This licence applies to the askWhizz app for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, developed by Higher Functions, Lda (pcm), Lote 154, Mercado Abastecedor, 6230-483 Fundão, Portugal (“pcm”). By installing or using the app you accept these terms.

Licence: pcm grants you a personal, free, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use the app on your devices to receive askWhizz technical support. The app is licensed, not sold; pcm keeps all rights in the app, the askWhizz brand and its content.

You may not: sell, rent or lend the app; distribute it outside the official stores (Microsoft Store, App Store, Google Play) or the askWhizz website; separate components to distribute them; or decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it.

Remote access and monitoring: remote access to your device only happens with your explicit permission and while you are present. The monitoring agent only runs when you switch it on and only collects technical data (processor, disk and memory use, malware detection and the state of security updates).

Personal data: data you give us while using the app is handled under the askWhizz privacy policy and the GDPR.

Support services: technical support provided through the app is governed by the terms and conditions of your askWhizz plan.

Warranty and liability: the app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, pcm is not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in this licence limits the rights the law gives consumers.
